About Tuition

Valor has worked to set a tuition rate that is competitive, but also allows for the school to provide reasonably for staff, support programming, and operate sustainably. As an independent school that does not accept government funding of any type (i.e. vouchers), Valor relies on tuition and donations. Did you know that at most private schools, the posted tuition does not reflect the true cost of running the school? At Valor, that “true cost of tuition” averages $10,600 per student. This means that Valor closes the gap between the posted tuition rate and “true cost of tuition” via fundraising. We take seriously the responsibility to budget carefully and steward resources in such a way that keeps tuition competitive and fundraising goals reasonable.

Financial Aid

In the same way, we understand that enrolling your child at private school is a significant financial investment. Most families must budget carefully and prioritize to provide this level of education for their children. We also recognize that some families may need to re-assess their finances each year prior to re-enrolling.

To help families manage the cost, Valor provides limited, need-based financial aid to qualifying families. The aid amount is determined each year and available as the budget allows. A typical financial aid award discounts tuition by 20% to 40%.

How To Apply for Financial Aid

We ask that families that are interested in financial aid begin by first applying for admission to the school. We will then follow up with a secondary questionnaire that pertains specifically to financial aid. This process allows us to both learn more about each family independent of their financial status and earmark awards for those that have a meaningful intent to enroll.

Finally, if you need financial aid, consider applying for enrollment and aid early in the year (between November and February). Financial aid is limited, so families that apply early in the year will have priority consideration.
